I once found a small action figure lying on the floor. I picked it up and felt I was rescuing a survivor who had made it through a very difficult life. That day I was inspired to look for a way to combine many of these forgotten toys into a sculptural work and create new icons, shaped by hundreds of different stories coexisting in harmony and breathing life into a new being … a being that will hopefully live much longer.
